The ambassador of Qatar in Mexico said on February 27 in his participation in the Sports Summit MX event, along with representatives of the organizing committee of the World Cup Qatar 2022, that his nation has worked intensively in the organization and infrastructure of the World Cup, that was achieved in record time.

"The eight stadiums that will host the World Cup 2022 matches will be ready two years before the start of this event. We will also have the most advanced metro in the world, which will allow transportation from one stadium to another with a maximum of 45 min, so you can enjoy two games at the same day, "He said in the Sports Summit.

He said that Qatar has organized different sporting events in the last years, as the country has a big experience in organizing such events. "Last year we organized the Athletics World Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, which we will also organize this year.” The ambassador stressed that VISA will not be required for Mexicans who want to visit territory and he concluded: "I want to welcome all Mexican fans. I know they will enjoy a very beautiful country."
