Under the sponsorship of the World Cup 2022 Organizing Committee and heading to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Mexico initiated the activities of the Qatar-Mexico footbal Cup on Saturday 2/2/2019 at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. With the presence of Ambassador Mohamed AL Kuwari and the Minister of Tourism Mr. Carlos McKinlay, and prominent sports figures in the midst of a great media coverage. The tournament, which ended on February 9, 2019 days before the sports day in Qatar, was marked by the participation of Mexican footbal teams from various ministries, political organizations and prestigious Mexican universities. And it ended with a victory for the Ministry of defense team.
