The Qatari embassy supports Mexico with medical supplies with the collaboration of "Qatar Charity"

The Qatari embassy in Mexico  donated on 21th of July  medical supplies to Mexico  with the collaboration of "Qatar Charity", as a contribution from the State of Qatar to countries like Mexico against Covid-19. The support consisted of the amount of two hundred thousand US dollars ($ 200,000) donated in medical  supplies such as face masks, gloves among others. The event took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,in the presence of  the Minister of Foreign  Affairs Marcelo Ebrard, as well as the Qatari ambassador to Mexico, Mohamed Al Kuwari, and the Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights, Martha Delgado. The Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked Qatar for the support in these difficult times and emphasized the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. Likewise, Ambassador Mohamed Al Kuwari affirmed that the support of Qatar is a contribution to strengthen the support for the Mexican people to  combat  the Covid-19. The state of Qatar was the first Arab country to support Mexico with supplies in this pandemic, the first of which took place last June in the Municipality of ¨Nezahualcóyotl¨ in the State of Mexico, one of the Mexican states mostly infected with the Covid-19  which constituted in food support  and medical supplies.
