On Monday, May 31, 2021, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Mexico inaugurated the press conference for the Qatar-Mexico soccer cup 2021 in its third edition.This event organized by our embassy every year under the auspices of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, which aims a wide media coverage to promote the 2022 World Cup and divulge the culture and civilization of the State of Qatar.The conference was inaugurated by H.E the ambassador of Qatar in Mexico Mohamed AlKuwari with the presence of Yon de Luisa, President of the Mexican Football Federation, and Arturo Elias Ayoub, a well-known Mexican businessman and CEO of Telmex Corporation. The event was attended by famous  guests: The Minister of Tourism, Minister of Economic Development in Mexico City, representatives of mministries, Mayors of municipalities in the capital, Mexico  City , and in the State of Mexico,  also the honorable ambassador  of Palestine, Egypt, Morocco, and Lebanon , and the advisor of the embassy of Saudi Arab. In addition to ex-football players, businessmen, and very important media and television channels .During the press conference, , H.E Ambassador Al-Kuwari said that:  Qatar-Mexico cup 2021  on its third edition was not possible without the support of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy as the official sponsor of the event under the guidance of the honorable  Secretary-General, His Excellency Mr. Hassan Al Thawadi.His Excellency Mohamed AlKuwari informed the audience H.E. Ambassador Alkuwariand the media about the details of the third edition Qatar-Mexico cup, which will be held from 12 to 27 of june at the Magdalena Mixhuca  stadium. And the closing ceremony will be held on Sunday 27th at 1:00 pm to deliver to announce the winning teams.There are teams participating in Qatar-Mexico cup which are divided into three categories: women, men, and junior, from the following teams:Qatar Team (Qatar Embassy Team)Team Mexico A team of doctors (in honor of their role in confronting the Covid-19 epidemic)Pumas team Tigers Team Team Cruz AzulChivas teamAmerica TeamThe ambassador also thanked the media for their presence emphasizing their work to broadcast the image of Qatar and the world cup .The President of the Mexican Football Federation, Mr. Yon de Luisa, expressed his great and deep thanks for the invitation of the Ambassador Al-Kuwari to this important event, praising the efforts of the Embassy in creating activities to promote sports and the 2022 World Cup, that mexicans await with a lot of enthusiasm. 
The businessman Elias Ayoub, congratulated the ambassador for his continuous efforts to show and spread Qatari culture in Mexico, and he said that when he visited Qatar, he was impressed by this exceptional country, calling everyone to visit Qatar in the 2022 World Cup, which will be the first World Cup in the middle east.
