Qatar Embassy in México celebrated on February 9, the final of the second edition of the Qatar-Mexico Cup 2020,  held at the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City . Qatar's ambassador to Mexico, Mohamed Al Kuwari, said that the objective of this event is to strengthen the relationship between both nations through sports, as a part of the embassy preparations and activities towards the World Cup 2022.

About this cup, the ambassador said: this second edition of the Qatar-Mexico Cup was a great success, this year we includes three categories and next year we will expand more¨.

The first place winners of the second edition of the Qatar-Mexico Cup were: UNAM in the men's category; in the women's category the Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc and in the youth category, Alcaldía Coyoacán.
